The Summit Home
Perched atop a gorgeous New Hampshire hillside with epic views of Plymouth Mountain, “The Summit Home” stands as a testament to our commitment to high performance design and healthy living. A robust wall assembly—handcrafted timber frame elements, natural wood fiber insulation and locally milled cedar siding—-surrounds and protects a gorgeously refined interior space.
A refined interior space.
Impeccable floor plans and attention to every detail characterizes our approach to high performance design. Our homes are designed for comfort and every day living, but also yes, it’s okay to stare too.
Epic views of the New Hampshire countryside.
When designing your custom home, we take many things into account: passive solar, how the home sits on the land, and of course breathtaking views of the home’s surroundings.
Small Moments.
Steve and Charlene’s home is the pinnacle of cutting-edge, science-based natural construction. But it is also a place for them to come home and rest after a long day of work, or enjoy an evening dinner party with friends. At SEED, we treat each and every corner of your home with the care it deserves. At our core, we are craftspeople—-and connecting homeowners with real materials and healthy indoor spaces is our mission every day.
Falling Asleep in Nature.
Even though there are multiple protective and thermal layers separating your interior space from the outdoors, that’s not exactly how our homes often feel. In the Summit Home, European-style triple pane windows allow copious amount of light, but feel warm to the touch in the dead of winter. And state-of-the-art decentralized HRV’s are pulling fresh, tempered air into the home at all times, ensuring the indoor air quality of the home remains high, even when temperatures are low.
